Venice People Mover tracks

Cheryl took this photo from the No. 2 vaporetto as it passed through the canal between Venice's Marittima cruise terminals and the parking island of Tronchetto. The picture shows the tracks of Venice's People Mover arching across the canal.

As a bonus, here's a photo of a People Mover train leaving the Tronchetto station:

The People Mover is one of the few transportation bargains in Venice. A ride between Tronchetto and Venice's Piazzale Roma, with a stop at the Marittima cruise basin, costs only one euro and takes about three minutes.
