We featured the Traghetto Santa Sofia in a video post last year, but we've just created a new video to show how Venetians use traghetti (gondola ferries) for everyday transportation.

In the video below, you'll see passengers boarding a traghetto, crossing the Grand Canal, and disembarking from a boat at the Pescheria or Venice Fish Market.

The video lasts just over two minutes, and if you watch it to the end, you'll see two dogs and a large baby stroller coming off the traghetto.
