Thursday, March 11: The YouTube clip below was shot at the same location as an earlier video, Morning on the Campo San Barnaba. It shows normal life returning to Venice after a March snowstorm (see our "Snow in Venice" photo essay) and the strongest winds that Venice has experienced in years.

The video starts with a beverage-delivery barge arriving at the snow-covered Campo San Barnaba, where the crewmen unload their handcarts and cargo. The camera zooms in briefly on a snowman or pupazzo di neve in the square, and toward the end of the two-minute clip, two other delivery men with handcarts pass in front of the camera.

(You'll notice a slight jerkiness as Maggie, the celebrity-sniffing service dog who stars in our Maggie in Venice blog, tugs at her leash while Cheryl attempts to shoot the video.)
