ACTV Venice Tourist Travel Cards

Venice's vaporetto and motoscafi fares are notoriously high: €6,50 for a single point-to-point boat ride, which is about the price of a pizza margherita at a local eatery. Fortunately, the ACTV--Venice's transit authority--offers a series of Tourist Travel Cards that can ease the pain of riding the local water buses. The cards are offered for periods that range from 12 hours to 7 days, with unlimited transportation during the period of validity. For details on buying the cards, and for tips on using them cost-effectively, see our new Venice Tourist Travel Cards article at Veniceforvisitors.com.

Can one reload the iMob Venezia card online?

Durant Imboden

You can renew it online and have the new card mailed to an address in Italy. Otherwise, you'll need to do it in person (which is easy and quick).
